When I first started co-writing with the machine, the tone was all over the place. Its writing was too performative, too try-hard — like a marketing blog post. I'd edit every time, and even then it wouldn't always remember.
We gradually worked out a process. I'd point out what was off, it would log it, then avoid it next time. After a few rounds, it distilled a writing skill — which words to cut, what rhythm matches mine, how to land an ending.
Now we can turn a day's worth of thoughts into five or six published notes within an hour.
Looking back, my contribution wasn't that much. I was just making judgment calls: this works, that doesn't. But it turned those judgments into an entire executable system. I taught it taste. It taught me efficiency.
